In a bid to address the lingering issues of high rent and poor house conditions in Ikere Ekiti, the Bureau of Community Communications has scheduled a crucial meeting with landlords and landladies in the area. The meeting, slated for Tuesday, April 1st, 2025, at the Ikere Local Government Secretariat Hall, aims to review previous requests, assess progress made, and identify outstanding concerns.

According to Mrs. Mary Oso-Omotosho, Director-General, Bureau of Community Communications, the meeting is part of the office’s commitment to effective government-community collaboration. To ensure proper coordination, landlords and landladies who have not registered before are expected to arrive by 10:30 AM, while those who have previously registered should arrive by 11:00 AM.

The meeting is seen as a significant step towards finding lasting solutions to the housing challenges facing Ikere Ekiti residents. With the active participation of all chairmen of Ikere Landlord Associations, the Bureau of Community Communications is optimistic that the meeting will yield positive outcomes.
