Ekiti State Commissioner of Police, CP Joseph Eribo, paid an official visit to Efon Local Government Area, where he was warmly welcomed by the Executive Chairman, Hon. Segun Afolabi, along with the Leader of the Legislative House, Rt. Hon. Obisesan Taiwo Julius, and other key officials. The CP’s visit aimed to assess the security situation and evaluate the current security landscape in the Local Government.
During his remarks, CP Eribo emphasized the need to strengthen ties between the police force and the community, government officials, and stakeholders in the Local Government. He also encouraged initiatives that foster cooperation between the police and community members to enhance safety and security. This approach aligns with his promise to come up with initiatives and modern techniques to fight crime in Ekiti State since assuming office in January 2024.
