Osan-Ekiti College of Education, a newly approved tertiary institution in Ekiti State, participated in a crucial interactive session with the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) and other stakeholders in the Nigerian education sector in Abuja on April 14, 2025. The meeting aimed to guide new institutions in embracing full digital compliance, ensuring seamless operations and avoiding unnecessary infractions.

This development comes as part of the Nigerian government’s efforts to enhance the education sector, with the Minister of Education, Dr. Tunji Alausa, emphasizing the importance of graduates possessing market-relevant skills critical to Nigeria’s industrialization. The college, which focuses on the overall development of students in areas such as affective, cognitive, and psychomotor skills, offers various programs across different schools, including Arts and Social Sciences, Sciences, Language, Early Childhood Care and Education, and Vocational and Technical Education.
