The Yemi Oshe Foundation is set to collaborate with the Nigeria Police Force, Ekiti State Command, and the Ekiti State Government to combat phone theft in the state. A program titled “Combating Phone Theft in Ekiti State, A Collaborative Approach” is scheduled for tomorrow, April 18, 2025, at 10 am in Fayose Market, Ado Ekiti. This initiative aims to bring together stakeholders to discuss strategies for reducing phone theft and improving security in Ekiti State, ultimately ensuring a safer community.
The program aligns with the foundation’s mission to address societal challenges through collaborative efforts with government agencies and other stakeholders. With the Nigeria Police Force’s community policing approach recognized in the 1999 Constitution and the 2004 Police Reform/Police Act, this partnership holds promise for effective crime prevention in Ekiti State.
