As Christians around the world celebrate Easter, Comrade Oluseyi Olatunde, President of the Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE), Ekiti State, has urged council workers to embody the spirit of love and unity.
In a statement signed by Publicity Secretary Comrade Monsurat Oladipupo, Olatunde called on members to demonstrate their love for one another by showing commitment to the uplift of NULGE and the development of Ekiti State.
He expressed gratitude to Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji for approving April salaries ahead of schedule, enabling staff to celebrate Easter.
The NULGE leader reaffirmed the union’s commitment to prioritizing workers’ welfare and improving the local government service. He prayed for God’s preservation and protection, wishing members a joyful and blessed Easter celebration.
