A devastating accident claimed the lives of two individuals on Saturday evening in Ado Ekiti, the capital of Ekiti State. The incident occurred around 10 p.m. on the flyover bridge in the Fajuyi Area, involving a motorcycle rider and his passenger.
According to reports, excessive speed caused the bike to plunge off the bridge onto the road below. The victims were rushed to the hospital but were pronounced dead upon arrival.
An eyewitness attributed the crash to reckless driving, stating that the bike’s speed must have been excessive. In a surprising turn of events, the driver responsible for the collision promptly reported himself to the police for investigation. The identities of the victims have not been ascertained.
