The Ekiti State Commissioner of Health and Human Services, Dr. Oyebanji Filani, has reaffirmed the state government’s commitment to ensuring the safety of medicines used by residents. This assurance was made during a visit by officials of the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) to his office.
Dr. Filani welcomed NAFDAC’s initiative to assess drug safety monitoring across health facilities in the state, pledging the government’s full support for initiatives that enhance public health.
He expressed the government’s dedication to upholding the highest standards of healthcare in Ekiti and looked forward to continued collaboration with NAFDAC.
