EKSG Lifts Movement Restrictions for April Sanitation Exercise

The Ekiti State Government has announced that there will be no restriction of movement during the Environmental Sanitation Exercise scheduled for Saturday, in consideration of the ongoing JAMB Examinations. This decision aims to allow candidates and officials, as well as other residents, to move freely during the period.

While movement restrictions are lifted, Environmental Health Officers at both state and local government levels will actively patrol communities to encourage residents to clean their surroundings and maintain proper environmental hygiene.

The government urges everyone to take personal responsibility for the cleanliness of their premises, emphasizing that a clean environment is crucial for healthy living.

This initiative reflects the government’s commitment to balancing public health initiatives with the needs of residents and examination candidates.
