Governor Oyebanji Provides Support to Person Living with Disability in Ido-Ekiti

In a heartwarming display of compassion and commitment to inclusivity, Governor Biodun Oyebanji of Ekiti State has provided support to Mr. Toyin Awopetu, a hardworking shoemaker living with disability in Ido-Ekiti. Upon learning of Mr. Awopetu’s mobility challenges, the Governor promptly directed the provision of a brand-new wheelchair, financial assistance to bolster his business, and essential food items.

The gesture was delivered by Mrs. Mary Oso-Omotosho, Director-General of the Bureau of Community Communications, accompanied by Mr. Gbenga Obanise, Special Assistant on Disability Affairs, and Mrs. Toyin Tuase, Special Assistant in the Governor’s Office, among others. This visit not only provided immediate relief to Mr. Awopetu but also underscored Governor Oyebanji’s unwavering commitment to supporting all citizens, regardless of physical ability.
