NFSS ZONAL DC PROVOSTS EMBARK ON NATIONWIDE TOUR TO PREPARE FOR PROVOSTS/INTELLIGENCE OFFICERS NATIONAL TRAINING

The National Headquarters of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has announced that the six Zonal Deputy Commandants (DC) Provosts will be embarking on a nationwide tour to sensitize and mobilize Provosts in each state for the forthcoming Provosts/Intelligence Officers National Training. The tour, which commenced in the second week of May 2025, aims to discuss the training objectives, agenda, and logistics with State Provosts.

The tour is expected to cover all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), with each Zonal DC Provost visiting states under their respective zones. The zones and their respective DC Provosts are: North Eastern Zone, led by DC Amos Yohanna; North Central Zone, led by A C Solomon Patrick; North Western Zone, led by DC Istifanus Ayuba; South Eastern Zone, led by DC Arinze Chukwuka Victor; South Western Zone, led by DC Adeyemi Olusegun Michael; and South Southern Zone, led by DC Daggah Michael Iwara.

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has urged all State Commanders to ensure that all Provosts under their commands are informed of the tour and the upcoming training. The NSCDC believes that the tour will enhance the skills and knowledge of Provosts and Intelligence Officers, ultimately contributing to improved security in the country.
