All Souls Anglican Grammar School, Ado Ekiti, has made a remarkable impression at the 2025 Agile Games, with both its male and female basketball teams emerging victorious and qualifying to represent Ekiti State at the national level in Abuja.

The male team secured a decisive 50-33 win over Borno State at the Ekiti Parapo Pavilion, showcasing exceptional skill under the guidance of Ekiti State Coach, Mrs. Motunrayo. The match drew a large audience of enthusiastic supporters, including schoolteachers, students, and basketball enthusiasts.

The school’s female team had earlier qualified for the national competition by defeating Ado Grammar School, Ado Ekiti, during the inter-school tournament. The Principal of All Souls Anglican Grammar School, Mrs. Adeyeye Titilayo, expressed gratitude to the event organizers for providing a platform to showcase the talents of promising students. She also acknowledged the support of Governor Biodun Oyebanji’s administration, the Commissioner of Education, and other key officials in fostering grassroots sports development.

The teams are set to proudly represent Ekiti State in the upcoming national competition, which features a range of events beyond basketball, including Spelling Bee, Content Creation, and Debate.
