The Environmental Health Officers Association of Nigeria (EHOAN), Ekiti State Chapter, has expressed heartfelt gratitude to Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji for approving the 10% outstanding CONHESS salary increment for health workers in the state’s local government service.

The association’s president, Sanitarian Bodunde Taiwo Victoria, described the gesture as a good and great act, demonstrating the governor’s commitment to workers’ welfare and equity.

The association also appreciated the efforts of the governor’s wife, Dr. Oluyemi Oyebanji, Deputy Governor Okinlua Monisade Afuye, JOHESU President Comrade Ajoloko, and Ekiti State NULGE President Comrade Oluseyi Olatunde for advocating for the rights and welfare of health workers.

The health workers thanked the governor for ending the salary disparity between them and their state counterparts, promising to reciprocate the gesture when the time comes.
