Afe Babalola Supports FRSC’s Bid to Bear Arms, Cites Enhanced Security as Key to Road Safety

Renowned legal luminary and Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN), Aare Afe Babalola, has lent his unequivocal support to the Federal Road Safety Corps’ (FRSC) bid to bear arms, citing enhanced security as key to safety on the nation’s highways.

The endorsement was made during a visit by the Ekiti State Sector Commander, Corps Commander Sanya Adeoye, to Babalola’s office at the Afe Babalola University. Babalola emphasized the importance of arming FRSC personnel to ensure enhanced security and safety on the nation’s roads, noting that the FRSC’s role extends beyond mere traffic management.

The Corps Marshal, Shehu Mohammed, applauded Babalola’s endorsement, stating that it would help take FRSC operations to the next level, ensuring safer roads for all Nigerians.
