The Gbonyin Local Council Development Area (LCDA) Chairman, Hon. Damilare Ajayi, has shown his commitment to fostering unity and peaceful coexistence among different faiths and ethnic groups in the council area.
On June 6, 2025, Hon. Ajayi presented Sallah gifts to the Hausa Muslim community in Ijan, Iluomoba, and Aisegba-Ekiti, enabling them to celebrate the 2025 Eid-El-Kabir festivities with joy.
The chairman commended the cordial relationship between Muslims and non-Muslims in the council area, praising their role in maintaining peace and tranquility. Representatives of the Hausa Muslim community expressed their heartfelt gratitude to Hon. Ajayi for his love, care, and consistent support since his assumption of office. They prayed for his peace and success during his tenure.
The community leaders also called on all residents, regardless of faith or ethnicity, to work together to ensure peace and love prevail in the council area, believing that this unity would bring progress and development to benefit everyone.
