The Ekiti State Ministry of Education has announced a revised timetable for the 2025 state examinations. According to the new schedule released on June 9, 2025, the Primary School Leaving Certificate/Placement Examination will now take place on July 3 and 4, 2025.
The Junior Secondary School Certificate Examination is set for June 17 to 20, 2025, while the Senior Secondary School (SS 2) Unified Promotion Examination will run from June 16 to June 24, 2025.
The changes are due to national holidays and the mid-term break for all schools in Ekiti State.
However, an earlier release indicated different dates: Primary School Leaving Certificate/Placement Examination was initially scheduled for June 12-13, 2025, and Junior Secondary School Certificate Examination for June 16-19, 2025. The Ekiti State Ministry of Education urges all stakeholders to take note of these revised dates .
