The Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE) has commended Ekiti State Governor, Biodun Oyebanji, for the quality of work carried out at the International Cargo Airport in the state. The NSE Chairman in Ekiti State, Engineer Omotola Alawode, led a team of members on an on-site visit to the airport, where they praised the governor for ensuring that the project meets global standards.

According to Engineer Alawode, the materials used for the construction of the cargo airport meet specifications, and the governor’s commitment to completing projects initiated by his predecessors is a testament to his visionary leadership. The NSE Chairman also commended Governor Oyebanji for embarking on various projects, including roads, hospitals, and schools, which demonstrate his commitment to infrastructural and human development.

Engineer Alawode expressed confidence that the International Cargo Airport would boost trade and commerce in Ekiti State, create jobs, and stimulate economic growth. She praised the governor for doing well and justified the money spent on the project, noting that the materials used would last longer. In light of the governor’s outstanding performance in all sectors, Engineer Alawode believes that Governor Oyebanji deserves another term in office.
