NOUN Ijero-Ekiti Study Center Commissioning: A Milestone in Education History

The National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) Ijero-Ekiti Study Center is set for commissioning on Friday, July 11, 2025, by Ekiti State Governor, His Excellency Mr. Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji. This momentous occasion marks a significant milestone in the history of education in Ijero-Ekiti.

The commissioning ceremony will take place at the NOUN Study Center premises on Aramoko Road, Ijero-Ekiti.

The event is expected to be attended by prominent dignitaries, including HRM Oba Joseph Adebayo Adewole, JP, OFR Arojojoye II, the Owa Ajero of Ijero Kingdom, and members of the Ijero Development Association (IDA).

The establishment of the NOUN Ijero-Ekiti Study Center is a testament to the IDA’s commitment to promoting education and development in the community. The IDA, along with its Central Coordinating Committee (CCC), has been instrumental in fostering the NOUN project and ensuring its success.
