In a vibrant celebration of heritage and leadership, Senator Yemi Adaramodu has been installed as the Gbobaniyi of Iro-Ekiti by His Royal Majesty, Oba Adeniyi Afolabi Felix, the Onigogo of Iro-Ekiti. The chieftaincy title, meaning “one who brings honour,” recognises Senator Adaramodu’s contributions to the community and commitment to grassroots development.

In his acceptance speech, Senator Adaramodu pledged to uphold the responsibilities of the title and announced plans to launch community-based initiatives, including youth employment and artisan empowerment programs.

He also rallied support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Biodun Oyebanji ahead of the 2027 general elections, offering prayers for peace and progress in Iro-Ekiti and Ekiti South West.

The ceremony was attended by dignitaries, traditional rulers, and community members, blending cultural richness with a renewed vision for development.
