EKSAA Sets 5M Naira Fee for Governorship Aspirants and Urges Respect for Public Property

Ekiti State Signage and Advertisement Agency has announced a mandatory signage fee of five million naira for governorship aspirants from all political parties.

The fee covers the display of posters, branding, jingles, and related activities. The Director General, Mr Adebisi Adesua, told reporters in Ado Ekiti that the payment applies to all parties’ aspirants and warned that failure to pay would breach the agency’s 2007 law and attract fines.

The agency also cautioned against defacing public property, emphasising restrictions on pasting political posters on government establishments, the State secretariat, public schools, and pillars of the flyover bridge.

Aspirants and parties were urged to contact EKSAA to obtain payment details and complete the required procedures.
