The Federal University of Medical Sciences Abeokuta (FUMSA) in Ogun State has officially commenced its admission process for the 2025/2026 academic session.
Candidates, parents, and guardians are informed that all admissions must be processed through the Joint Admissions and Matriculations Board (JAMB), with applicants required to have attained a minimum age of 16 years and sat for the 2025 UTME exam.
Prospective students must score at least 200 in JAMB to be eligible, and those seeking professional courses must have their five SSCE credits at a single sitting as outlined in the JAMB brochure.
The university offers a range of programmes including Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy, Nursing Sciences, Physiotherapy, Radiography, Human Nutrition and Dietetics, Dental Therapy, Optometry, Information Technology, Health Information Management, Statistics, Physics, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, and Microbiology.
After JAMB processing, candidates will undergo a post-UTME screening by FUMMSA, with the final admission list uploaded on the JAMB portal. Admission letters will be issued by JAMB, while final screening will take place between 25th and 29th August 2025.
The academic session is scheduled to begin on 2nd September 2025 following payment of fees.
