The Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (MLSCN) has officially inducted fresh Medical Laboratory Sciences graduates from the College of Health Sciences and Technology, Ijero, granting them full status as medical laboratory technicians.
At the ceremony, Dr Abiodun Dada, representing the Acting Provost, congratulated the new professionals and encouraged them to uphold the values of both the Council and College. Dr Donald Offili, the MLSCN Acting Registrar and CEO, through Mr Humphrey Elendu, emphasised the Councilβs role in regulating standards and urged the graduates to stay focused and compassionate as they build their careers.
MLS Ojo Bola Oluwatosin, Assistant Director of Medical Laboratory Science at Federal Teaching Hospital, Ido Ekiti, praised the inducteesβ dedication and highlighted their importance to healthcare advancement in line with national goals.
The guest lecturer, Olaoluwa Adesanoye, reminded the graduates to steer clear of medico-legal issues and remain diligent. Held at COHESTIβs Hon. Wumi Ogunlola hall, the event featured oath-taking and gift presentations, marking a proud milestone for all involved.Β
