The Ekiti State Government has approved a significant budget of ₦3.8 billion for the construction of Aviation Staff Quarters at the Ekiti Agro-Allied International Cargo Airport.

This ambitious project will provide 40 residential units designed to accommodate airport staff, alongside a comprehensive waste management system.

With an average budget of about ₦95 million allocated per residential unit, this development underscores the government’s commitment to improving living standards and supporting the workforce essential to the airport’s operations.

Once completed, the staff quarters are expected to enhance both the welfare of aviation personnel and the overall functionality of the airport, reinforcing Ekiti State’s position as a growing hub for air cargo and agro-allied business activities.
