COHESTI Hosts National Pre-Certification Exam for Pharmacy Technician Students

The Ekiti State College of Health Sciences and Technology (COHESTI) in Ijero-Ekiti has reaffirmed its dedication to excellence in teaching, research, and learning by hosting the National Pre-Certification Examination (NPCE) for 300-level Pharmacy Technician students.

Acting Provost Mrs Iyabo Folake Oladapo expressed the institution’s commitment to producing highly competent middle-level health professionals to address the nation’s healthcare needs.

Officials from the Pharmacy Council of Nigeria (PCN), including Chief Invigilator Pharm Benson O. Maxwell and Examiner Pharm Mrs Abigael Festus, inspected the College’s Computer-Based Test centre to ensure readiness for the two-day examination, which commenced today and will conclude tomorrow.

The COHESTI CBT centre serves as the examination venue for Pharmacy Technician students from two health colleges in Ekiti State and one from Osun State.

Representatives from the College, including the Dean of the School of Therapeutic and Intervention Science, Mrs Rachael Okunade, and Acting Head of Department, Pharmacy Technician, Pharm Matthew Ajigbotowo, welcomed the PCN team.

This event underscores COHESTI’s leadership role in advancing health education standards and preparing healthcare providers to meet the country’s pressing demands.
