EKITI MONARCH ON THE RUN AS IRATE YOUTHS PROTEST ALLEGED CURSING

Tensions are running high in Ijero Local Government Area of Ekiti State, Nigeria, after irate youths protested against the Elepe of Epe Ekiti, Oba Ayodeji Adesoye, alleging that the monarch used his traditional powers to curse some youths. The situation escalated to the point where the monarch was forced to flee for his life.

According to eyewitnesses, the youths, who were armed with placards and projectiles, marched to the palace, demanding justice and the monarch’s abdication. The protesters claimed that the monarch’s actions were unacceptable and an abuse of his traditional powers.
