ONE KILLED AS GUNMEN REPORTEDLY KIDNAP SEVERAL PEOPLE IN EKITI

‎Several people were reportedly kidnapped along the Itapaji-Iyemero road on Monday, including Mrs. Saka Deborah, the daughter of a battery charger from Ijero Ekiti.

The victims have been held hostage since then with the abductors demanding for a ransom of 50million naira.

The kidnapping which took place at YSJ Farms betweeen the Oke Ako and Irele axis saw not less than 15 persons reportedly kidnapped.

According to reports , some suspected kidnappers were also reported to have killed and burnt a machine belonging to a young boy some hours ago at Baba Olopa’s farm situated near along Ogbe – Irele Road.

‎The Commissioner of Police in Ekiti State, CP Joseph Eribo when contacted, confirmed the incident and said the anti kidnapping squad were working on rescuing the victims.
