TUITION FEES, NOT INCREASED IN EKSU.

The attention of the Management of Ekiti State University, Ado Ekiti (EKSU), has been drawn to a viral video and misinformation circulating online by one Aposteli  Kayode that the university had increased its tuition fees.

The supposedly man of God who called himself an Apostle was obviously expressing his ignorance that the university had increased fees without verifying from the appropriate quarters, just for the purpose of seeking undue attention. He went far by using foul language to discredit the Vice Chancellor and the university, which is unacceptable.

For the avoidance of doubt, the university is not in the habit of increasing its tuition fees arbitrarily. It is the policy of the university that whatever a student pays in 100 level is what he/she will pay throughout the period of studentship.

Members of the public are to note that the university has not increased its tuition fees, as the fee regimes approved by the Governing Council are  still in place and maintained. Therefore, the misinformation being circulated by the self claimed Apostle should be disregarded in its entirety.
