Ekiti-born culinary sensation, Damilola Adeparusi, popularly known as Chef Dammy, has officially graduated from the prestigious Hospitality Business School, marking a major milestone in her fast-rising career. The young chef, who shot to fame with her bold cook-a-thon attempt, has now been formally certified as a professional chef after completing her training at the Lagos-based institution.
Celebrating her achievement, Chef Dammy shared her joy, saying it is safe to say she is now “officially a professional chef,” expressing gratitude for the opportunity to learn from what she described as the best hospitality school in Nigeria, the first in Africa and among the top 10 in the world. She credited the grace of God and the favour of people for bringing her this far in 2025, while looking ahead with confidence to even greater accomplishments.
In an emotional message, she appreciated the Hospitality Business School (HBS), her sponsors, supporters and Nigeria as a whole, acknowledging the vital role they have all played in her journey. Her graduation not only cements her status as a trained culinary professional but also inspires many young Nigerians who followed her story from Ekiti to the national spotlight.
