Massive Drug Bust in Ekiti: NDLEA Seizes 5.3kg of Cannabis and Methamphetamine from Notorious Kingpin At Nova, Ado Ekiti

In what is hailed as the largest ever seizure of the potent cannabis strains Loud and Colorado in Ekiti State, the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) struck a decisive blow against drug trafficking in Ado-Ekiti on Friday, 29th August 2025.

Acting on credible intelligence, operatives raided a property on Nova Street, behind New Creation School, successfully confiscating 5.3 kilograms of Loud and Colorado cannabis and 2.5 grams of Methamphetamine from 42-year-old Ajayi Ayodeji Idowu, alias Atiku, a known drug kingpin in the area. This significant haul underscores the NDLEA’s relentless commitment to combating illegal narcotics within the state.
