Afuye, Bimbo Daramola, Others Pay Condolence Visit To The Family Of The Late Abiodun Ojo Gabriel

The Deputy Governor of Ekiti State, Chief Princess Monisade Christianah Afuye, led a condolence visit to the widow of the late Abiodun Ojo Gabriel who died in Ikere Ekiti last weekend.

The Deputy Governor conveyed her heartfelt condolences and described the loss as deeply sorrowful. The APC Family however pledged to assist in securing employment for the widow and the deceased’s eldest daughter.

Additionally ,The APC family took responsibility for the funeral arrangements, raising N300,000 for the burial expenses, while Hon. Rufus Ige Olorunfemi, Chairman of Ikere West LCDA, covered the mortuary fees.

Among those who visited to express their condolences were Deputy Governor Chief Princess Monisade Christianah Afuye, Congressman Hon. Bimbo Daramola, Engineer Bimbo Ogundipe, Otunba Dolamu Adeniyi, Hon. Victor Adeniyi, Chairman of Ikere West LCDA Hon. Rufus Ige Olorunfemi, and Hon. Olu Adamolekun (rtd), along with the Aare Atuluse of Ikere, Engineer Ayodele Igbekele, councillors, supervisors, and advisers.

The Ogoga of Ikere Kingdom, Oba Dr. Samuel Adu Alagbado, called for calm and clarified that the incident was an accident rather than a political matter.

He assured that the Ogoga-in-Council would also visit the family to offer prayers and express gratitude to the APC family for their swift response.

Hon. Bimbo Daramola remarked that the accident occurred after the final BAOWALK event, and he was taken aback by the news.

The APC family reiterated their commitment to securing jobs for the widow and the eldest daughter. The Deputy Governor also delivered logistical support from the Governor of Ekiti State to the family.

Mr. Ojo Omotosho, the deceased’s elder brother, expressed his gratitude to the government and the APC family for their assistance.
