Ekiti Governor Convenes Emergency Meeting with Female Local Government Officials

Ekiti State Governor, Biodun Oyebanji, has invited all female elected and appointed local government officials to a crucial meeting scheduled for Tuesday, March 25, 2025. The meeting will take place at the Lady Jibowu Hall, Government House, with accreditation starting at 10 am and the meeting commencing at 12 pm.

Attendance is mandatory, and officials are required to present their appointment letters for accreditation. High Chief Jide Awe, Special Adviser on Political Matters and Inter-Party Affairs, announced the meeting.

This gathering is significant, given Governor Oyebanji’s administration’s commitment to women’s empowerment and inclusivity. Ekiti State has been recognized as one of the most women-friendly states in Nigeria, with a high number of female officials in key government positions.
