Ekiti State Governor, Biodun Oyebanji met with the leadership of the Presidential Metering Initiative (PMI) in Ado-Ekiti to discuss collaborative efforts to improve electricity access through metering across the state. The PMI team, led by Engr. Lawal Lawal, expressed their commitment to bridging the national metering gap, which resonated with Governor Oyebanji’s emphasis on the urgency of ensuring Ekiti communities benefit from the rollout.
Governor Oyebanji acknowledged the importance of expanding metering access to guarantee efficiency, accountability, and better service delivery, particularly in light of the state’s investments in electricity infrastructure. He appreciated the PMI team’s visit and looks forward to partnering closely with them for the benefit of the people of Ekiti State.
