Amb. Prince Michael Ogungbemi, Executive Chairman of Ajoni Local Council Development Area (LCDA), has saved the life of a mother and her newborn twins by settling their medical bills at the Federal Medical Centre (FMC), Ido-Ekiti. Mrs. Adeniyi Gboyega, who was facing financial difficulties, was scheduled to undergo a Caesarean section to deliver her twin babies.

Upon learning of her plight, Chairman Ogungbemi acted swiftly, providing timely assistance that ensured the safe delivery of the twins and their mother’s timely postnatal care. Expressing gratitude, Mrs. Gboyega thanked the Chairman for his kindness, which allowed her and her babies to be discharged in stable condition.

Amb. Ogungbemi reiterated his administration’s commitment to prioritizing citizens’ wellbeing, especially the vulnerable and underprivileged. He emphasized that governance must be people-centered and driven by compassion, particularly in times of distress.
