The Chairman of Ekiti State House of Assembly Service Commission, Hon. Fasakin Kayode Ajayi, has commissioned a security house built by the 1984 set of Okemesi Community High School in Okemesi Ekiti.
Fasakin expressed his deepest appreciation to the school management and the old students for their philanthropic gesture, noting that the project is an investment in the future of the community, nation, and the world. He commended the old students for giving back to their alma mater, saying that the school had inspired, challenged, and empowered them to make a difference in their spheres.
Fasakin also used the opportunity to appreciate the Governor of Ekiti State, Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji, for developmental initiatives in the community, including the ongoing reconstruction of the Ita-Awure-Okemesi road and the approval to connect Okemesi Ekiti to the electricity supply.
He urged the community to continue supporting the governor’s administration in its bid to spread the Shared Prosperity vision and bring more dividends of democracy to the community.
The old students association pledged to undertake more projects in the school.
