Ekiti State Governor, Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji, has taken a significant step towards promoting educational excellence in the state by approving the release of One Hundred and Eighty-Two Million Naira (₦182,000,000.00) for bursary and scholarship awards to Ekiti indigenes in tertiary institutions across Nigeria for the 2024/2025 academic session. According to the Chairman of the Ekiti State Scholarship Board, Hon. Wole Adebola (Esq.), a total of 3,084 students will benefit from bursary awards valued at Sixty-One Million, Six Hundred and Eighty Thousand Naira (₦61,680,000.00). Additionally, 1,502 students will receive undergraduate scholarships amounting to One Hundred and Twenty Million, Three Hundred and Sixty Thousand Naira (₦120,360,000.00). The beneficiaries were selected after a rigorous screening and verification exercise undertaken by the Scholarship Board in collaboration with the respective tertiary institutions.
