SUSPECTED THIEF UNDER GUISE OF PICKING SCRAPS DROPS VALUABLES TO ESCAPE IN ADO EKITI

A suspected scrap dealer narrowly escaped capture by a vigilante in Ado Ekiti on Tuesday after being found with valuable items, including a generator, grinding machine, and numerous cables. When the vigilante inspected the suspect’s load, the individual fled the scene, prompting a chase.

Although the suspect managed to evade capture, the incident highlights the ongoing efforts of vigilantes to curb theft and crime in the area. It’s clear the suspect was likely stealing under the guise of collecting scrap materials.
