Ekiti East LGA Chairman Charges Security Agencies to Remain Vigilant

The Executive Chairman of Ekiti East Local Government and Chairman of the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON), Ekiti State Chapter, Hon. Chief Ojo Oluwasegun Samuel, has charged security agencies in the local government to be proactive, vigilant, and fully committed to their duties.

Presiding over the May edition of the monthly security meeting, Hon. Ojo emphasized the importance of synergy and collaboration among security operatives and local stakeholders in ensuring the safety and protection of lives and property across the local government.

He noted the growing security challenges facing the nation and stressed the need for both security personnel and members of the public to remain alert and security-conscious at all times.

The Chairman reiterated the local government’s commitment to providing necessary support, resources, and logistics required by security agencies to effectively carry out their operations and maintain peace and order within the communities.
