The Executive Chairman of Ekiti South West Local Government, Hon. Apolola Richard, has congratulated HRM Oba Adebanji Ajibade Alabi, Afuntade 1, Alawe of Ilawe-Ekiti, and the entire people of Ilawe-Ekiti on the occasion of the historical Olofin Festival 2025. Apolola described the festival as a spectacular celebration that showcases the town’s rich cultural heritage and religious tolerance.
He commended the monarch for being the rallying point and motivator of the festival and prayed for his long life and wisdom to lead Ilawe to greater heights. The council boss also urged the people of Ilawe to prioritize love, understanding, and unity, and to work together to create a brighter future for themselves and future generations.
He reaffirmed his commitment to working in synergy with the community to achieve growth and developmental planning for the mutual benefit of all.
