Ekiti Government and OA Initiative Celebrate Breakthrough for Sickle Cell Warriors

The Government of Ekiti State under Governor Biodun Oyebanji has partnered with OA Initiative to transform healthcare access for People Living with Sickle Cell Disease.

Thanks to this collaboration, over 600 warriors are now enrolled in the Basic Healthcare Provision Fund, enjoying free medical services from primary to tertiary centres.

This milestone marks a huge step forward after years of exclusion, made possible by the dedication of OA Initiative’s team and strong government support.

The partnership signals promising hope for even greater healthcare inclusion for sickle cell patients in the state.
