The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) has issued a compliance directive following a routine inspection at an outlet in Ado-Ekiti, where unregistered regulated products including kulikuli, chin-chin, groundnut, and honey were found on sale.
The agency has imposed an administrative fine of two hundred thousand naira on the offender and has warned against the continued sale of unregistered items, stressing that failure to comply will lead to harsher penalties.
NAFDAC emphasises the importance of adhering to regulations to protect consumers and ensure product safety within Ekiti State.
