Ekiti State Governor, Mr Biodun Oyebanji, has offered heartfelt condolences to the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Prof Nentawe Yilwatda, on the death of his mother, Mrs Lydia Yilwatda, who passed away at the age of 83 after a brief illness.
In a message signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Yinka Oyebode, Governor Oyebanji described the late Mrs Yilwatda as a loving mother, a community leader, and a champion of good causes whose wise counsel and motherly care will be sorely missed. He encouraged Prof Yilwatda and the family to view her passing as a glorious homecoming following a life of selfless service.
The governor prayed for God’s comfort and strength for the family to bear the irreparable loss and commiserated with them on behalf of the government and people of Ekiti State.
