EKITI NSCDC COMMANDANT WELCOMES NEW CORRECTIONAL SERVICE CONTROLLER, PLEDGES CONTINUED SUPPORT

The Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) in Ekiti State, Toma Matthew Enya, has welcomed the newly posted Controller of Correctional Service, Controller Okuseinde Christy Oluremi, to the state.

During a courtesy visit to the NSCDC commandant’s office along Ado-Ikere Road, Controller Oluremi praised the existing synergy between the two agencies and thanked the NSCDC for the support given to her predecessors.

She prayed for the sustenance of the collaboration and promised to support the NSCDC in its core mandates. Commandant Enya, in response, pledged the NSCDC’s continued support to the Nigeria Correctional Service, highlighting the importance of Correctional Centres as Critical National Assets and Infrastructure that fall under the Civil Defence Corps’ purview for protection against jailbreaks and other security threats.
