Ekiti State is set for a major agricultural transformation with multimillion-dollar support facility from the African Development Bank under their program ”Special Agro-industrial Processing Zones (SAPZ)” aimed at revolutionising agricultural sector in Nigeria and Africa at large,Β where two Ekiti farm settlements located in Eporo in Emure and Orin Ekiti have been marked as key hubs in the state’s agricultural revolution.
These two farm settlements have been officially approved as Agricultural Transformation Centres (ATCs) to drive growth and productivity across the region.Β
A stakeholder engagement meeting is scheduled for Monday, 6th October 2025, at 12 noon, at Elemure Palace in Emure Ekiti. HRM Babatunde Ajiboye, the Elemure of Emure, will lead discussions focusing on the Environmental Impact Assessment of the proposed Agricultural Transformation Centre in Eporo, Emure LGA.
This meeting invites all residents and stakeholders to be part of shaping the future of agriculture in the state.Β
