Agbeyewa Farms Strengthens Security Partnership to Boost National Growth

Agbeyewa Farms in Ekiti State has taken a significant step to enhance its collaboration with security agencies, as both the Nigerian Army and the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) have pledged stronger partnerships to secure the operations of the world’s largest cassava farm and support national development. Major G.M. Ado, Nigerian Army Company Commander Itapaji, and Femi Olowosejeje, Deputy Commandant of NSCDC Ekiti Command, paid separate visits to the farm to discuss ways to bolster security measures.

Oska Seyi Aiyeleso, MD/CEO of Agbeyewa Farms, welcomed the NSCDC delegation, including Deputy Commandant Rotimi Osuma, and commended their ongoing support through the Agro-Rangers Unit, highlighting the professionalism of their personnel. Mr. Aiyeleso emphasised the need for closer cooperation with security forces as the farm expands, revealing plans for an Agbeyewa Farms City where staff, their families, and security personnel will live together to promote welfare and integration.

Deputy Commandant Olowosejeje praised Chairman Niyi John Olajide for his community development efforts and reaffirmed NSCDC’s commitment to a stronger partnership. Meanwhile, Major Ado visited Agbeyewa’s Gede Farm near the Army’s base at Itapaji Road, where he was received by senior farm officials including Mr. Aiyeleso and Cavista Holdings’ Chief Security Officer, Dauda Ismail.

These visits underscore Agbeyewa Farms’ dedication to fostering solid security collaborations that ensure a safe environment for its agribusiness activities and contribute to the wider economy of Ekiti State and Nigeria.
