Opeyemi David Falegan, chair of the Opeyemi David Falegan Foundation, has issued a rallying call to Ekiti youth. He announced that the Royal Air Force will be recruiting before April 2026, urging young men and women to seize the opportunity.
In a passionate message, Falegan criticised the current state of unemployment, with youths drinking Jedi and ogogoro, hanging out at junctions, and being manipulated by politicians and data boys.
He emphasised that joining the military offers a pathway to opportunities, trades, and exposure, promising to assist with the application process free of charge.
Falegan believes that every young person in Ekiti has greatness within, and environmental factors shouldn’t define their future. He dreams of a prosperous Ekiti driven by youth empowerment, asserting that if the state produces 200 youth like himself, Ekiti would lead the South West.
He concluded with an inspiring message for those currently hanging around junctions — their time for greatness is near.
