Ekiti Attorney-General Dayo Apata, SAN, welcomed the new Commissioner of Police, Joseph Eribo, to the state’s justice ministry in Ado-Ekiti, emphasising the need for stronger security collaboration as Ekiti approaches another election period.

Apata expressed condolences over the recent passing of former Inspector General of Police Solomon Arase and praised the Police Command for maintaining Ekiti’s commendable security record.

He also lauded ASP Akala, the O.C. Legal, as a vital asset in administering criminal justice. Commissioner Eribo, in response, thanked the Attorney-General for the ongoing support and highlighted the importance of the Administration of Criminal Justice Law in improving police work and justice delivery.

The meeting included several directors from the Ministry of Justice and underscored a renewed commitment to uphold law and order through cooperative efforts between the police and justice sectors.
